Leaving Lake Powell & Page, AZ

Highway 191

Finished breakfast where we had 2 of the best omelettes either one of us had ever had. Van's all packed and we're ready to roll. Moab here we come.
On the way to our B&B in Moab we decided to take a side trip out to Canyonlands Needles Overlook. It's a side road off of hwy 191 south of Moab. It's about 22 miles of fairly lonely two lane. On the way we were treated to glimpses of what we were going to see.
The Needles Overlook looks down into a canyon that resembles a small Grand Canyon.

After leaving the Needles Overlook we headed back toward Moab. Just south of Moab is the Wilson Arch, it's right off the highway so we stopped to take pictures and climb up to it. Chris climbed all the way up inside.

By now it was 5:00 pm and we needed to get checked into our B&B.
We got checked into the Desert Hills B&B and after settling in a little bit decided to go down to the Moab Brewery for a beer and some food. They have really good pub food and beer, great service and reasonable prices. Perfect end to a perfect day.
